Rev. Barbara is originally from Miami, Florida where she was worked, was married, gave birth to four children, buried three of the four. Rev Barbara escaped a brutal Domestic Violent marriage,  volunteered and worshiped faithfully in a New Thought Center in Miami Gardens, Fl from 1987-2000, paid taxes, graduated from colleges. Rev Barbara later divorced her husband due to extreme battering, infidelities, and harsh domestic violence. She has one surviving adult daughter, three granddaughters, four great-grandsons, a great- granddaughter, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
In 2001, Rev. Barbara moved from Miami to Greater New York City, where she feels safe, motivated and happy.

Rev. Barbara is a graduate of The University of Miami, The Union Institute (BSSW) and The University of Metaphysics earning her Bachelors, B.Msc. and Masters M.Msc. in Metaphysical Science and Counseling.

Rev. Barbara has also completed coursework for New York State Credentialed Alcohol Substance Abuse Counseling ( CASAC) at SUNY Dutchess Community College in Dutchess County, New York. She is an Ordained Inter-Spiritual and Interfaith Minister with full officiating rites since 2009. Rev. Barbara's is placing emphasis on her doctoral dissertation which is entitled Women and The Bible.

Rev. Barbara is author of The Metaphysical Roots of Alcoholics Anonymous. The intention is to show how New Thought and Metaphysical thinkers played an influential role in the mind of founders and co-founders William Wilson and Dr. Robert Smith. This work explores how contributors of The New Thought Movement such as Williams James, Emmet Fox, Dr. Ernest Holmes and many others made an insurmountable impression toward the development of the encounter group Alcoholics Anonymous.
